Hi, I'm Lyn.

My qualifications are:

Bachelor of Teaching (ECE)

Aperfield Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education

Certificate in Adult Teaching

Current First Aid certificate

I am excited to be working with Kids at Home as a Visiting Teacher. 

I have grown up in Te Awamutu and have one "grown up" daughter and

two younger children attending local schools. 

I have worked in early childhood for six and a half years, and with

Playcentre off and on for the last 20 years.  I have worked in mainstream

settings, Montessori and relieved in a variety of centres.  This has

broadened my knowledge and understanding of teaching perspectives.

I am passionate about children's learning and well-being and am excited to

be working in this role supporting homebased educators and nannies. I have recently completed my Certificate in Adult Teaching.

In late December 2011 I gained my Montessori qualification; the Aperfield Montessori Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
