Kids at Home are proud to help celebrate Maori Language Week. 

Here are some ways to incorporate Te Reo Maori into your day:

- Improve your pronunciation of Maori words - for help click here

- Improve your pronunciation of Maori place names - for help click here

- Say "kia ora" when greeting your friends and family 

- Put up a welcome sign on your door saying: "Nau mai, haere mai" 

- Find out the Maori names for items and use them 

- Watch Te Karere (the Maori news on TVNZ) with your family in the evening
