Hi, my name is Lesley and I am a home-based Educator with Kids At Home,
I am married to my husband Lyall and have two adult sons. I have been doing home-based childcare for over 19 years. I provide a warm, caring and happy home where children and their families can feel like they have a home away from home. We attend weekly playgroups, music group and socialise with other educators on a regular basis. I enjoy looking after children, encouraging them to learn through play and help guide them in their early years.
I am situated on Aberdeen Drive, Dinsdale – across from the Aberdeen Kindergarten and Aberdeen Primary School.
My backyard is fully fenced and has lots of room for the children to play and have fun.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I look forward to meeting with you and welcoming you and your family into our home.

Our son Keegan Morth was in full time care with Lesley from October 2003 (15 months old) to July 2007 (5 years old). Lesley had been recommended to us from a friend of ours, as her son had been in Lesley's care previously. In the 4 years that Keegan was with Lesley she was nothing but amazing with her manner, dedication of care and friendship to our family. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Lesley helped with discipline and education (toilet training) and respect for other people's property and person. Keegan was well looked after and we trusted Lesley to have our son's best interests taken care of. To this day (Keegan is now 16 years old) Lesley still has a close connection to us all and is always keen to hear the latest news with regards to Keegan's achievements. We would thoroughly recommend Lesley as a care giver to any child who would benefit from her competend skills with children. Her environment is safe and lots of fun with the animals. Lesley has cared for my son Leo since January 2016. Lesley has consistently proven herself to be reliable, dependable and trustworthy. Lesley has exceptional time management and other oranisational skills. She always has my child's best interests at heart and goes the extra mile to ensure that he is well cared for. When unexpected changes have occurred as they inevitably do, Lesley has been flexible and adaptable. She has set firm boundaries with regard to expectations and behaviour and she has been consistent in ensuring they are followed through. This has guaranteed that my son feels safe and secure when in her care. In the time that Lesley has been involved with our family, she has in fact become a part of our family. I would have no hesitation to recommend Lesley as a caregiver for children, or any other role that she would like to pursue. Kristie Gribben, Primary School Teacher
