Hi, welcome to my profile, my name is Lea! I am happily married and have three amazing children aged 24,22 and 10.
I have been working with Kids at Home for almost a year and feel very privilaged to be able to look after your beautiful children. I offer a safe, happy, fun and stimulating environment and encourage your children to explore and grow to their full potential.
Our home has a full fenced outdoor area and also a playroom with quality resources. The children and I love to attend Mainly Music, Kids at Home playgroup and gym class, as well as excursions to the library and events that allow the children to socialise, explore and play.
We have lots of fun singing, dancing, doing arts and crafts and exploring nature. I enjoy organising activities to suit each childs interests, this is a very rewarding part of my job!
I hold a current First Aid certificate and will be studying for my Level three early childhood qualifications this year. I have previously worked as a Programme Facilitator in the aged care sector and also with special education in preschool centres.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, I look forward to meeting with you and welcoming you and your family into our home.
'We have no hesitations in recommending Lea as a home-based carer. Right from day one our girls have felt comfortable and at home with Lea. They both are super eager to spend time at Lea's house, they absolutely love her' - Kristy
'My daughter has been with Lea for seven months now, she started when she was just five months old and took to Lea staight away. She loves going to play with all the other kids and playing with the toys. Lea sometimes takes the children to the library in Papamoa and to feed the ducks at the park when the weather is nice. Lea's home is nice, clean, tidy and safe for the children and they are always doing lots of fun things to keep them busy!' - Claire
