As a Kids at Home educator or nanny, you choose your own hours to suit your needs, your family's needs and those of your care families.  You have the flexibility to decide to offer full or part-time care depending on what suits you - you can choose how many hours per day you wish to care for children and whether or not you want to work in the school holidays. 

Kids at Home offers some of the best pay rates in town (up to $23.20 per hour) - contact our office to find out more.

Support and guidance - we offer support and guidance through our highly qualified team of Visiting Teachers.  They will visit you on a monthly basis and are available by phone, text and e-mail as well. Our Visiting Teacher team will help you with the practical aspects of the implementation of

Te Whaariki, New Zealand's early childhood curriculum.

All Kids at Home educators and nannies benefit from being able to provide children in their care with access to weekly play and music groups and fortnightly gymnastics groups - free of charge.  This encourages social interaction with peers and allows educators the opportunity to "network" with other educators and nannies.

We also organise monthly excursions to stimulating and fun environments. 

Kids at Home encourages personal development and offers training and opportunities for people working within the company. Kids at Home pays for educators to attend a certified polytechnic course in Homebased Childcare.  We also pay for educators and nannies to gain their First Aid certificate.
