Our team at Kids at Home is a dedicated team of individuals who have been chosen for their commitment to provide quality, educational in-home childcare.  Kids at Home's management team also consists of experienced Early childhood professionals and others who have worked within other roles in ECE for many years.  We are proud of our positive workplace culture which can be felt as soon as you walk through our office doors!

Our passionate team of Visiting Teachers support networks of home-based Educators and Nannies within their role. Visits are scheduled at least once a month to the Educators home however contact is maintained at least once a fortnight. Our Visiting Teachers are required to see each child in thier care environment monthly and are available to families at any time for a chat. It is important that everyone is rowing the boat inthe same direction!

A Visiting Teachers role involves professional development; running workshops and assisting with any further study an individual may choose to undertake.  Planning; working alongside Educators with programme planning following our national ECE curriculum, Te Whariki ,as well as hosting regular playgroups and events. 

Finally our Visiting Teachers play a part in the development of relationships between Educators and Families. Kids at Home values relationships with Visiting Teachers, Educators and Families, all built and strengthened by mutual trust and respect.
