Hi, my name is Lisa! My husbands name is Jon and we have two children who attend Selwyn Ridge Primary school in Welcome Bay. I am happy to do pickups in the mornings and drop offs by arrangement.
I have been working with children for over 20 years, including nannying in London, Italy and America. I have been doing home-based care with Kids at Home since 2009. I attended playcentre with my own children and did my training through playcentre courses and workshops. I also have a current First Aid certificate which is renewed every two years, as well as a full drivers license.
I am a warm and caring person and I provide a great home environment with lots of resources. Our home has great indoor and outdoor areas for the children to learn and grow.
I love to provide planned activities and outings in our community such as Kids at Home playgroups and term outings. The children and I also enjoy library time, music and gym class as well as visits to local parks and playgrounds.
Thanks for taking the time to read about me, I hope to get to know you soon!

Going back to work so soon after the birth of our youngest was a bit of a shock. With a 4 month old and a 4 year old we wanted our daughters to have a safe and family feel childcare that they would otherwise be getting at home with us. We also wanted a smaller ratio childcare for our children and discovered Homebased Care. We found Lisa who lived only a stone throw away and clicked as soon as we met her, her home is always clean and tidy, best of all our girls would come home happy and healthy. We always felt as if we were there as Lisa made an effort to document and share about Brookes day which meant alot and felt that she would treat Brooke as if she was one of her own. I would of been lost without Lisa, her attention to detail is amazing. Fast forward 4 years later our youngest Brooke is preparing for school, Thank you so much Lisa for helping us raise our baby girl, she learnt so much from you. - Briar
