As a Kids at Home Educator you can decide whether to provide full time or part time childcare. You control your time.

As a Kids at Home Educator, you are an independent contractor, which means you can negotiate your own reimbursement rate with parents. Kids at Home do not charge Educators for administering parent payments.

You will receive ongoing support from qualified early childhood teachers. Visiting Teachers develop reciprocal relationships with Educators built on trust and shared respect. Alongside your Visiting Teacher you will be fully supported by an administrator that is only a phone call away

As an Educator with Kids at Home, you are entitled to huge tax breaks from IRD meaning more money in your pocket every week.
Educator Tax Benefits
The real cool thing about working from your own home as an educator is that the IRD give you a concession towards the cost of running your business. This concession varies each year but for 2020 it is $3.75 per child per hour. In simple terms, this means you do not get taxed on the first $3.75 per child per hour you earn. This goes straight into your pocket!
