Catherine
Cambridge, Waikato
Hi, my name is Catherine! I love being an Educator with Kids at Home Waikato. Two of my values as an Educator that I pride myself in are fostering my care children’s independence and developing and maintaining quality relationships with not only the children but their families.
Activities the children and I enjoy are going on local walks, playdates with other Educators and their care children, going to the playground, velodrome and collecting natural resources for craft activities.
We set up obstacle courses with hoops, balance beams, hurdles, skipping ropes and really explore our creativity and physical ability.
I have four beautiful children, three sons and one daughter. My home has a large outdoor space which is fantastic for bikes, scooters, running races etc. Indoors we have a large collection of age appropriate toys and equipment including puzzles, blocks, dress ups, cars, play bbq and kitchen, musical instruments… books and more!
Caring for and educating children is a passion of mine, as a mother and home-based Educator I have a wealth of knowledge, and also experience caring for children with health requirements such as Asthma, cerebral palsy, allergies and more.
I work Monday to Friday and I am flexible to work with your families requirements, available for early starts if required. Contact the Kids at Home team to arrange a meeting if you would like to enquire about home-based care with me!
